It's not often we find a mid-century property to renovate, since people are quick to grab up even the ones in the worst of shape! This St. Louis residence had a lot going for it, however. Large windows and living spaces were attractive features, though there weren't too many others in its original condition. Both exterior and interior were in need of top-to-bottom renovations, including siding, floors, kitchen, and bathrooms. Now, some lucky residents are going to have the MCM rental home of their dreams!
Employing a budget of $48,000, our team of renovators and local contractors went to work on this transformation. Outside, the siding and supports were cleaned up and reinforced. Going inside, every surface got a do-over, including cabinets, floors, sinks, and showers! The outdated aspects of the floor plan were toned down, and a clean, neutral color palette helped bring the light in through all the oversized windows and sliding doors.
