In the recession, one of the economic sectors that suffered greatly was the housing market. Even today, the housing market has not recovered to its former level. However, there are some sectors that are experiencing great success.
My name is Chris Clothier, and my Memphis-based family business is putting us on the map with our great success in transforming foreclosed properties into high quality cash flow properties for investors. Basically, we purchase REO properties from the bank at a low rate, we offer investors a selection of high quality rental properties for sale, and we maintain these properties for our clients, who enjoy an increased income through this affordable investment.
The Memphis Invest strategy is strong. I was recently interviewed for an article about our company for business news site AG Beat. In the interview, I describe our business to Tara Steele, who sums up our mission:
"Memphis Invest converts distressed REO properties to rentals, and they place a tenant, so it is a performing asset for private investors. The company recently released their first quarter activity report, showing a 67 percent year-over-year increase in the number of its homes sold to investors. Of those, 82 percent were REO, thus providing the nation a great example of how the REO to rental strategy can help revitalize communities one home at a time."
Indeed, Memphis Invest sells and manages cash flow properties using a strategy that benefits investors at the same time as it rebuilds our community. How is our business able to be so successful? Steele writes about my own expertise as one leading factor: "Chris Clothier, Partner at Memphis Invest, is one of the nation's leading experts in single-family rental real estate services and attributes the company's growth to lower prices and lower interest rates." Basically, our rental properties for sale are so affordable, that our business plan allows everyone to benefit from the current state of the economy, in which demand for quality rental properties is at a high.
Rental Properties For Sale
I plan to further expand our REO-to-rental-property business into other fast-growing southern cities such as Atlanta and Nashville, places where there are large employers, solid infrastructure and solid future demand for their core industries, all indicators of a strong market for investors to benefit from rental properties for sale in the long run. The market for reliable real estate investments is strong, and by the end of 2013, we will be managing more than 2,000 properties in Memphis, Atlanta, and Dallas, representing $200 million in real estate value.
