Financial strategy can be a tricky skill to master. It can leave many of us feeling anxious, particularly if we are new to things like investing—be it in stocks and bonds or in real estate and business ventures.

Where finances are concerned, we have this “tried and true” mentality that often keeps us from updating age-old financial advice. We believe that if it worked in the past—for our grandparents and parents—hey, it’ll work for us and our kids, too, right?

For real estate investors, one of the most important things you can do for your financial future is to maximize your monthly cash flow.

Naturally, every real estate investor wants positive cash flow—but more than just having positive cash flow, you want to have significant positive cash flow.

And in order to do that, you have to be proactive in your strategies for maximizing that cash flow. Even passive real estate investors have work to do.

Looking back over the last few years, there is one thing we all can agree on when it comes to real estate investing...  This has been one helluva ride for the real estate market and investors alike!  

What we find really interesting though is that even with such a wild ride, there are still lists out there of things you need to avoid.  Especially as those lists relate to Turnkey real estate investing.  Oddly enough, there are still many investors who are choosing to not learn from history.  Or maybe they don't know what this history is that they need to avoid.  Although any list is going to be subjective and without a doubt, incomplete, this list at least gives a starting point for investors looking at turnkey investments.
