As records begin to trickle in and your documents get in order, you begin to sort out every last financial detail so that you can pass it all over to your trusted CPA. After all, you want your tax return back as soon as possible.

Whether You Read Books or Listen to Audio Books, You NEED to Add These Books to Your List!

Every year I try to put together a list of books that I enjoyed reading the previous year. If you have read my lists in the past, you know that I often list books that I read over and over again because they are that impactful!

This year, I wanted to share the books that had really impacted my thought processes and even inspired me to take action.  As usual, not all of these are real estate books nor are they all investing books.  I strongly believe that in order to succeed, you have to surround yourself with the right people, the right resources, and the right attitude and these books are a great place to get started! We're starting off 2019 with a drastic Horn Lake, MS 'Turnkey Transformation'! You can probably tell that this property has encountered quite a bit of fire damage, so these before and after pictures are very dramatic to say the least. And you may also be wondering, when did Memphis Invest start acquiring properties in Mississippi? In addition to Memphis, Dallas, Houston, Little Rock, St. Louis and Oklahoma City, there are plenty of smaller, nearby markets that Memphis Invest has been able to enter in these sprawling cities.

Where our finances are concerned, we tend to think in “big picture” terms. It’s about our investments, paychecks, house payments, and big bills. We rarely consider the small, seemingly insignificant actions throughout our day and how they can impact our wealth and financial future.

See how our vendors and project managers were able to clear out the yard, take down the wooden boards and spruce up the interior of the home to create a beautiful living space.

Looking back at 2018, we experienced a year of high expectations that largely did not disappoint. Markets continued to stabilize, economic promise grew along with property values, and the revitalization of cities nationwide provided opportunities and population growth.

Our 'Transformation Tuesday' for this week is in Memphis, TN, where we'll see this almost 65-year-old home get a major facelift! From multiple window units, lots of junk to sift through, and a missing ceiling, we'll see this outdated home turn into a prime investment for our clients.
